How Muldale uses publishers' contact details

Who we are. Muldale is a homeware and garden brand of Rutherford Wren Ltd, Office 1 Engine House, Marshalls Yard, Gainsborough, DN21 2NA, United Kingdom. Contact: Chris, help@muldale.com.

Why you are hearing from us. You publish content about cooking, entertaining, gifts or the home, and you have made a business contact route public (an email address, a contact form, a work-with-me or press page, or a business social profile). We use that route to ask whether you would like to try one of our products and, if it earns a place, mention it. That is the only purpose.

What we hold. Your name as it appears on your site, the page we found, the contact route you published, the date we found it, and a record of what we sent you and what you replied. Nothing else. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not guess email addresses.

Our basis. For a business or a publication, our legitimate interest in making a relevant, one-to-one editorial enquiry. For an individual, the business route you published inviting exactly this kind of enquiry. In the United States we follow the CAN-SPAM rules: our identity and postal address are in every email, a direct message on social media links to this page (which carries them), and an opt-out is honoured within ten business days.

How long. Twelve months after our last contact, then deleted. If you ask us to stop, we delete your details at once and keep only your website's address on a do-not-contact list so that we never contact you again.

Your rights. You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our using it. Email help@muldale.com and we will respond within one month.

Samples and disclosure. If we send you a product, it is a gift with no conditions. If you write about it, we ask you to disclose that we sent it, as your regulator and your readers expect.

Complaints. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) at any time.
