Proud Supporters of Climbers Against Cancer (CAC)

To kick off the New Year and also our commitment to 50 Acts of Kindness in 2020 we wanted to support a charity that aligned well with our brand. CAC is short for Climbers Against Cancer and we have keen climbers in the business and also people who have had their own battles with cancer and watched others suffer with the illness.    CAC has a terrific spirit that is rooted in John Ellison who founded the charity. The idea that people can find sanctuary and support within climbing communities as well as in the physical activity itself is very satisfying. The website is full of uplifting words and encouragement that gives hope to terminally ill people and extends support to their friends and families.  climbing against cancer - man on the summit
“The man at the top of the mountain did not fall there” (John Ellison)
We wanted to find a charity that matched our drive and outlook on life. It is precious and anything we can do to enhance it for others has to be a worthy cause.   We are looking forward to running events throughout the year that raise money for this wonderful cause. man climbing a craggy wall
You can’t do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth” (John Ellison)
We are proud to support Climbers Against Cancer. If you are facing a terrifying diagnosis then read I would urge you to read John’s Story. They are some of the most powerful words I have ever read.
